Jean has over 20 years’ experience of working as a State Registered Occupational Therapist within both statutory services, charities and the private sector. She has worked within acute and community settings and has specialised in the treatment of clients with neurological injuries. She has extensive experience of assessing the needs and care planning for clients with a variety of physical conditions for the NHS and private sector and continues to undertake clinical work on a sessional basis as a medico-legal case manager.
Jean has been providing evidence to the Court over the last ten years, on behalf of Claimants and Defendants. She compiles full care, aids and equipment reports and in particular has considerable experience in acquired/traumatic brain injury, multi and complex orthopaedic injuries, complex regional pain and loss of services claims. Jean has given evidence in the High Court and is an Accredited Expert Witness through Cardiff University/Bond Solon.
Jean is also a qualified Adult Education Teacher with over ten years’ experience as a part time University Lecturer at the University of the West of England and as a senior trainer writing and delivering post graduate courses for a private Occupational Therapy training company nationwide. She has five years’ past experience as an Accredited Bereavement Counsellor for Cruse Bereavement Care.
