COVID-19 Outbreak - JJ&A Update
The COVID-19 crisis has meant that we are currently living in challenging and uncertain times. Our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of our clients, employees and the wider community.
Whilst we will continue to deliver the best service we can to our clients, we understandably have to make some adjustments in line with advice from the Government and Public Health England.
Our robust working systems allow for our staff to work remotely so that we can continue to support our clients. Our Care Experts will continue to work remotely and where possible, assessments can go ahead providing the Claimant and the Expert have no reason to believe that they have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or are displaying symptoms or feeling unwell. We will be contacting clients ahead of planned assessments to discuss this further on a case-by-case basis.
We can also provide alternative methods of assessment by way of video-conferencing or telephone assessments, or we can delay the assessment if this is preferred. A further alternative option is that we may be able to produce a report by way of a desktop review, subject to sufficient evidence being made available to the Care Expert.
We will contact each client ahead of any planned assessment to discuss the most suitable way forward.
We will continue to review the advice and guidance provided by the Government and Public Health England and update as and when required.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
