Dorset Orthopaedic 'Strive for Better' Annual Conference

In June Lucinda Lloyd, Becky Willcox and Helen Morris attended Dorset Orthopaedics’ Third Annual Case Manager Conference entitled ‘Strive for Better, at the Aviator Hotel in Hampshire.

They found this a hugely informative day, which covered recent developments in the field of prosthetics, orthotics and Osseointegration.

The day presented them with a number of real life stories from people who have had upper and lower limb amputations. There were detailed presentations from experts in their field, these included the role of surgery, prosthetics and rehabilitation.

There were a range of exhibitors displaying a variety aids and equipment, prosthetics and orthotics for both children and adults.  For full story click here
