JJ & A Annual Seminar
Earlier this month Jane James and Associates held their Annual Seminar at Bowood House Hotel.
We were joined by over 40 delegates who came along for a bespoke day, to listen to a variety of professional’s perspectives on the current challenges around the ‘Cost of Care’.
Stacey Bryant, Legal Director and Deputy from Enable Law, presented from a Deputy’s perspective. Following Stacey, was Kate Russell from Community Case Management Services who covered the challenges faced from a case managers point of view. We also were joined by Chris Freestone from Total Community Care, who provide specialist care to clients with brain and spinal cord injuries.
Lunchtime allowed our JJ&A Experts and delegates to network, and there was an opportunity to look around a fully adapted motorhome built by Coachbuilt U.K.
The afternoon sessions were from our own Manual Handling Expert Sarah Street, who presented on the pros and cons of single-handed care and also the challenges holidays can bring when you travel with a disability. Finally, the day was rounded up by Kate Birch from Coachbuilt U.K.
