JJ & A Expert Witness Information Day

On Thursday 28th June the Jane James and Associates care expert team got together for some internal updating and training.

We were joined by Executive Director, Bernadette McGhie from Enable Law. Bernadette specialises in brain injuries, including birth-related neurological damage and maternal injury.

Bernadette presented two sessions, firstly ‘Clinical negligence – breach of duty and causation in relation to nursing experts’ and then a session on ‘Quantum Reporting’.

The afternoon session covered developments in joint discussions and joint statements and what the Court expects of expert witnesses along with do’s and don’ts. Nick Deal from Bond Solon brought his usual air of professionalism and panache to the afternoon proceedings.
