Meet our Training & Development Coordinator, Charlotte Doel
Meet Charlotte Doel, our Training and Development Coordinator who has been with Jane James and Associates since 2018.
Charlotte currently provides key training and support to our administrators (she has proofread hundreds of reports) and works closely with Lucinda (Luci) Lloyd to ensure our experts and clients receive the best possible service from JJ&A. Please read on to find out more about Charlotte and her true loves…..
I qualified in Sports Science at Bath University in 2014, having originally started by studying Geography at Durham. Whilst at Bath, I also gained my sports massage qualifications and was immensely lucky to work for Bristol Rugby for a period to gain more knowledge and experience.
I then carried this through to start a career and have been immensely lucky to work with some brilliant people. I have worked in clinics and sports clubs, but now continue to work from home and on the road, fitting this in around working for JJ&A. This has given me the balance of taking pressure off my hands but also still engaging with people to help them achieve personal goals, maintain their mobility, but also recover from injury.
My sports massage also led me to a period working for Team Bath at Bath University between 2016 and 2017, teaching their massage courses, and later to helping to fund an online teaching business which is running well to date!
Having grown up just outside Bath, I now live in Lacock with my husband, David. We got married in 2017 and to date are still talking!
The main love in my life, or perhaps my greatest addiction, are my horses. We are lucky to have stables at home as David competes horses full time, and therefore if ever not at my desk I will inevitably be at the yard. I compete my own horses regularly and have started to produce a few young horses for David to then take up the levels (hopefully!).
My near constant work companions are my two very naughty cats, Smudge and Squiggles, who I got during lockdown and now wouldn’t be without, although I don’t think that David appreciates the muddy paws so much!
Charlotte has been with the JJ&A since 2018, joining as an administrator but gradually developing her skills and taking on more responsibility.
She now supports Managing Director Jane James and Director of Operations Luci Lloyd with the development and training of new members of staff, including quantum care expert witnesses.
