Meet Roxy, a great addition to our Admin Team

Continuing our theme of ‘personalities behind the JJ&A brand’, we’d like you to meet Roxy Shepherdson, the newest member to join our administrative support team. You can learn more about Roxy in the short article below.

I joined Jane James and Associates as a medico legal administrator in July 2022, I provide high quality administrative support to JJ&A expert witnesses and to JJ&A clients, in a timely and professional manner, I also provide additional support to the Senior Leadership Team.

The role I'm currently performing at JJ&A is very similar to ones that I have undertaken in the past and the 8 years I spent in a clinical environment as a dental nurse and receptionist have stood me in very good stead for this current role.

My background is in the telecommunications industry, although for the last twelve years I have been co-running a milkshake business with my husband, running a thriving eBay business on the side, and providing freelance admin support for a dance company.

I definitely like to keep busy, and I like the variety that contract and part-time work gives me. When the position at JJ&A came along, I was delighted. In fact, the timing couldn’t have been better as my much-loved contract role in the history archive department at Wiltshire Council was just coming to an end.

The welcome I received at Jane James and Associates couldn’t have been friendlier or more supportive. I work remotely so I really appreciate the times we spend together as a team, whether virtual or in-person.

I was born in Bath (I’m a West Country girl at heart) although I have been living in Trowbridge in Wiltshire for the last 16 years. I’m married with a 10-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.

In the very little spare time I have, I love spending it with my family, travelling, castle exploring and playing video games to relax! I'm a real foodie, so I also love cooking and discovering new places to eat.
